This live drawing was done of a police officer who happened to be on the ward during one of my sessions. Persuading him to sit for a portrait added an element of spontaneity to the process. Capturing his likeness in real time required quick yet precise strokes, focusing on the structure of his face, uniform details, and expression. Shading was used to emphasize depth and contrast, ensuring a balance between realism and the dynamic nature of live sketching. The result was a strong, well-defined portrait that resonated with the subject, reflecting both accuracy and character.
