This drawing was based on a picture Chris gave me of his wife and baby. As I worked on it, I focused on capturing the warmth and tenderness in their expressions. The way the baby nestled in their mother’s arms, the softness of their gaze—it all spoke of love and connection. Since I was working from a printed photograph, I paid close attention to the details, translating the still image into pencil strokes that would bring them to life on paper.
